We have placed a tremendous emphasis on computer programming.
WHY SHOULD YOUR KIDS LEARN PROGRAMMING?
Myth: Computer programming is super hard.
Busted: We make programming easy for even young children by making it fun and relevant!
Myth: Computer programming is boring – all that typing.
Busted: We introduce the world of programming through drag and drop coding.
Myth: Young kids won’t WANT to code.
Busted: We utilize children’s affinity for video games, music and art to motivate them to learn coding – they end up coding their own video games & music and artistic creations.
Myth: Not all kids are natural programmers.
Busted: Programming is just like math or art, anyone can learn it – even young children.
Myth: Coding isn’t for girls.
Busted: Some of the more talented coders we have encountered are female. A majority of our instructors are female. The industry is clamoring for female developers – leaving doors wide open for girls who can program.
Contact your school’s front office to see if we are offering something after school. If not, email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can get started on bringing our awesome STEM workshops to your children’s school.
We teach Video Game Programming, graphic design using 3D printers and 2D processes, as well as bringing fun engineering challenges to your school.
